1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Damian Emile uses information provided through DamianEmile.com, including the AI Creator Starter Kit, returning-visitor features and consultation bookings.
It also explains optional first-party analytics that we are preparing to introduce. Those optional analytics are not currently enabled. Before enabling them, we will provide a privacy preference control and update this policy as needed.
2. Information You Provide
When you use our forms or request a consultation, you may provide:
- Your name, email address and mobile or phone number.
- Your preferred consultation date and time.
- Consultation type and topic.
- Your AI experience level.
- Notes or other information you intentionally submit.
Please avoid including sensitive personal information that is not needed for your request.
3. How We Use Information
We use submitted information to:
- Provide the website experiences and resources you request.
- Provide access to the AI Creator Starter Kit.
- Recognize returning visitors.
- Manage and record successful guide downloads.
- Schedule and manage consultations.
- Create and maintain Contact, booking and Meeting records.
- Respond to questions and provide support.
- Support security and prevent abuse.
- Understand engagement through service records and, when enabled with your permission, optional analytics.
Requesting a guide or consultation does not automatically authorize unrelated promotional email or SMS marketing.
4. CRM and Contact Records
Information submitted through the site may be stored in our customer relationship management system, EspoCRM.
We use CRM Contact records to maintain the information you provide, recognize your requests, record guide downloads and manage consultations. A later request may update an existing Contact record rather than create another record.
5. Returning Visitor Recognition
After you successfully identify yourself through the site, we may use a secure, signed first-party cookie to recognize you when you return. This helps you access the guide and consultation features without repeatedly entering the same information.
This recognition supports website functionality. It is not an advertising identifier.
Clearing or blocking browser cookies may remove recognition and require you to enter your information again. Clearing cookies does not itself delete information already stored in our CRM.
6. AI Creator Starter Kit Downloads
When a recognized visitor intentionally uses the tracked guide-download feature, we record the successful download against their CRM Contact record. This includes:
- That a download was recorded.
- The first successful download time.
- The most recent successful download time.
- The cumulative number of successful downloads.
Simply viewing the Learn AI page does not count as a download. Failed or rejected tracked-download requests are not counted as successful downloads.
These records reflect successful processing of the download request; they do not tell us whether you read the PDF.
7. Consultation Bookings
When you book a consultation, we may store the selected date and time, consultation type, topic, experience level, voluntarily provided notes and booking status.
The booking is associated with your Contact record and a consultation Meeting record. We use this information to schedule, display and manage the requested consultation.
Opening the calendar or selecting a time does not, by itself, mean a consultation has been booked.
8. Cookies and First-Party Technologies
We use first-party cookies or similar browser storage to support website functionality, security, returning-visitor recognition, form state, guide delivery and booking features.
These functional technologies are separate from the optional analytics described below.
Declining optional analytics will not prevent you from submitting your contact information, using returning-visitor recognition, downloading the requested guide or booking a consultation. Browser settings that block functional cookies or storage may affect recognition or require you to repeat information.
When privacy preferences become available, we will store your choice so the site can respect it.
9. Optional Analytics and Attribution
Our planned optional first-party funnel analytics are not currently enabled.
Before enabling them, we will provide a choice between necessary functionality only and allowing optional analytics. Optional analytics will begin only after an affirmative choice.
If you allow them, these analytics may record landing-page visits, interactions with the signup form, recognized Guide views, consultation calendar opens, and date or time selections.
They may use an anonymous first-party journey or session identifier. After you successfully identify yourself, permitted journey information may be associated with your Contact record. An identifier that is later linked to a Contact is no longer anonymous in that context.
With the appropriate preference, we may also record limited information about how you discovered the site, including:
- Campaign parameters:
utm_source,utm_medium,utm_campaign,utm_contentandutm_term. - Your original landing page.
- A sanitized referring site.
This helps us understand which sources and campaigns lead to meaningful engagement. We will limit collection to the relevant campaign fields and sanitized page information rather than retain arbitrary URL query strings.
Original attribution is intended to preserve the first qualifying recorded source, rather than replace it each time you return through a different campaign.
You will be able to change your analytics preference through Privacy Choices. Declining or withdrawing optional analytics will not disable the requested guide or consultation services.
This planned feature does not introduce Meta Pixel, Google Analytics, Google Ads tracking or third-party advertising identifiers.
10. Service Providers and External Services
Service providers may process information as needed to operate our website, hosting, CRM, communications, scheduling, security and related services.
Our hosting environment also includes an externally supplied performance-measurement script. This is separate from the planned first-party funnel analytics. We are reviewing its configuration so our disclosures and privacy controls accurately reflect its operation.
We may disclose information where needed to meet applicable obligations, respond to valid legal requests, resolve disputes or protect against fraud and abuse.
11. Marketing Communications
Requesting the AI Creator Starter Kit or booking a consultation does not automatically constitute consent to unrelated promotional email or SMS marketing.
Communications needed to respond to your request or manage a consultation are separate from promotional marketing.
If we introduce marketing communications, we will provide an appropriate separate consent mechanism where required and explain the available choices.
12. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, taking account of legitimate business and recordkeeping needs, security, dispute resolution and applicable obligations.
Retention may differ between Contact information, download history, consultation records and technical records. This policy does not establish a fixed retention period for every category.
Requests to delete information may be subject to records we need to retain for these purposes or applicable obligations.
13. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards to protect personal information.
No website, transmission method or storage system can guarantee absolute security.
14. Your Privacy Choices
You can choose what information to submit, although some information is needed to provide the requested guide or consultation.
You can clear or manage cookies through your browser. This may remove returning-visitor recognition but does not automatically erase CRM records.
When optional analytics becomes available, you will be able to allow or decline it and change your choice later through Privacy Choices. Withdrawing permission will stop future optional collection; it will not automatically delete records already collected.
Depending on where you live, you may have certain privacy rights. You may contact us about your personal information or request correction or deletion where applicable. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
15. Children’s Privacy
The site provides general information about AI and creative projects. Its current features do not ask visitors to provide their age.
If you are a parent or guardian concerned that a child has submitted personal information, please contact us so we can review the situation and take appropriate action.
16. External Links and Embedded Content
Links to external websites are subject to those websites’ privacy practices. If a page includes content supplied by an external service, that service may process information when the content loads.
Our privacy policy does not replace the policies of those external services.
17. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our services or practices change. We will reflect changes in the published policy and its “Last updated” date, and provide additional notice or choices where appropriate.
